T-Wolves Gaming Victorious Over 76ers GC in 2019 NBA 2K Finals Rematch

BearDaBeast a top performer of the night, averaging 31.6 points and seven assists per game in the series 

Minneapolis-St. Paul – T-Wolves Gaming, the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves, bested 76ers Gaming 2-1 in a best-of-three series. T-Wolves Gaming is now 2-1 on the season.

“It was a great win tonight for the team. We knew we were in for a tough battle tonight against 76ers GC. They are a tough team, and we expected a fight,” T-Wolves Gaming Head Coach and General Manager Justin Butler said. “We came together in Game 3 and showed how much we have improved over the last week. We know we still have a long way to go to get back to the level we were playing last year.”

In the first game of the series, T-Wolves Gaming was led by Michael “BearDaBeast” Key with a franchise-high 40 points. This marks two-straight nights where he has recorded a new franchise high. BearDaBeast added two rebounds and seven assists. Christopher “Detoxys” Doyle grabbed seven rebounds and dished out three assists.

In the second game, BearDaBeast scored a team-high 27 points on 12-of-16 shooting, seven assists and two steals. Mihad “FEAST” Feratovic tallied 18 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks, marking his third-straight double-digit scoring effort of the season.

In the deciding game of the series, BearDaBeast notched 28 points and dished out seven assists. Jordan “JMoney” Martinez totaled 26 points and one assist. Detoxys finished the night with eight rebounds and five points.

T-Wolves Gaming returns to action next Wednesday, May 20 at 6:00pm CT vs Pistons GT.
