T-Wolves Gaming Announces 2023 Schedule

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL – T-Wolves Gaming, the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves, today announced the schedule of the regular season matchups and tournaments for the franchise’s fifth season. T-Wolves Gaming will tip off the season on Wednesday, March 8 vs. Gen. G Tigers of Shanghai at 8:45 p.m. CT.
Earlier this month, the league announced for the first time, the NBA 2K League season will be separated into 3v3 and 5v5 halves. The 3v3 portion of the season begins with the Coinbase NBA2KL 3v3 SLAM OPEN on March 8 and finishes with the NBA2KL 3v3 Finals on Saturday, May 13. The 5v5 competition tips off on Wednesday, May 23 with THE TIPOFF Powered by AT&T and will culminate with the NBA2KL 5v5 Finals on Saturday, Aug. 5. T-Wolves Gaming rounded out their roster with the 47th overall pick in the third round of the 2023 NBA 2K League Draft with small forward, Saif “Clampism” Ali. The 19-year old from Sterling Heights, Mich. averaged 12.1 ppg, 3.4 spg, and shot 52.2% from beyond the arc during the 2023 NBA 2K League Combine. Clampism joins Abdafatah “TBShiftay” Noman who was named a 2022 Defensive Player of the Year Finalist, protected guards Michael “BearDaBeast” Key and Dhwan “ShiftyKaii” White and center Malik “Slaughter” Leisinger. The team is led by head coach Nick Gartrelle, who enters his third season as head coach.
