U.S. Bank and Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx Unveil Renovated Basketball Court at Hospitality House

Minneapolis-St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx in partnership with U.S. Bank unveiled a renovated court at Hospitality House in North Minneapolis, as part of the “Our Courts. Our Future.” program.

The Our Courts. Our Future. program, presented by U.S. Bank is in its sixth year through a partnership with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx. The program’s mission is to unite communities through the power of sport, while also supporting youth development programs on and off the court.

“Our ongoing, valued partnership with U.S. Bank and our collective commitment to impactful community outreach, continues to be defined by the Our Courts. Our Future. program,” said Timberwolves & Lynx Chief Impact Officer Tru Pettigrew. “The ability to provide a fun and safe environment for our city’s youth to play and learn the game while sharing our love for the Timberwolves and Lynx, is something we cherish being a part of and look forward to continuing for years to come.”

“These court renovations are an important investment in our youth and communities, and we are grateful for our partnership with the Wolves and Lynx to make this happen,” said Greg Cunningham, Chief Diversity Officer for U.S. Bank. “We want to thank the team at Hospitality House Youth Development for all that they do each and every day in North Minneapolis for our youth. We believe in the power of play and the role it plays in helping us stay connected and ultimately thrive. We cannot wait to see the young people enjoying this new court.”

Following a ceremonial ribbon cutting and remarks from Pettigrew and U.S. Bank, area youth joined the Timberwolves and Lynx Basketball Academy along with special guests, Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert, Lynx guard Rachel Banham and T-Wolves Gaming guard BearDaBeast, to break in the new court. The renovation marks the fourth Our Courts.
