T-Wolves Gaming Celebrates Women’s History Month By Reading To Students Across Twin Cities
March 5, 2020
The T-Wolves Gaming team, including new draft picks Xavier “Big Saint” St. John and Christopher “Detoxys” Doyle, spent Thursday morning celebrating Women’s History Month by reading to students at Lucy Craft Laney at Cleveland Park Community School.
The book the two read was A Is For Awesome! 23 Iconic Women Who Changed the World, a book that pays homage to some of history’s greatest women.
Nothing like a morning spent giving back.

It wasn’t just T-Wolves Gaming reading. The entire Timberwolves team along with coach Ryan Saunders particpated, as did Rachel Banham and Karima Christmas-Kelly from the Lynx. Other staff members also participated, reading to more than 2,700 students in 127 classrooms throughout Minneapolis and St. Paul school districts.
