T-Wolves Gaming’s Record-Breaking Night Lifts Them Over Bucks Gaming

Minneapolis-St. Paul – T-Wolves Gaming, the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves, bested Bucks Gaming 2-0 in tonight’s best-of-three series. The final score of the first game was a 75-56 and the final score of the second game was a 71-61, resulting in the team’s first victory of the season. T-Wolves Gaming is now 1-1 on the season.

In the first game of the series, T-Wolves Gaming was led by Michael “BearDaBeast” Key with a franchise-high 37 points on 15-of-27 shooting. He added five assists and four steals. Mihad “FEAST” Feratovic tallied his first double-double of the season, registering 10 points and 20 rebounds. T-Wolves Gaming rookie Xavier “Big Saint” St. John recorded his first double-digit outing of the season with 11 points to accompany his four steals, marking back-to-back games with at least four steals.

In the second game of the best-of-three series, BearDaBeast scored a team-high 30 points, marking his first-ever back-to-back 30-point scoring efforts. He also added a game-high eight assists. FEAST grabbed a franchise-high 24 rebounds for his first career set of back-to-back 20+ rebound games. He tallied his second double-double of the season notching 12 points to go along with his 24 rebounds, which mark the second-highest rebounding total in NBA 2K League history. Big Saint contributed 11 points, his first back-to-back double-digit scoring effort of the season.

T-Wolves Gaming returns to action next Friday, May 15 at 8:30pm CT for a 2019 NBA2K Finals rematch against 76ers Gaming.
