T-Wolves Gaming Win Fourth Straight With Series Sweep Over Mavs Gaming on ESPN 2

FEAST notches seventh double-double of the season

Minneapolis-St. Paul – T-Wolves Gaming, the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves, defeated Mavs Gaming with a two-game sweep in a best-of-three series. T-Wolves Gaming is now 4-1 on the season.

“We trust each other,” said T-Wolves Gaming shooting guard Jordan “JMoney” Martinez of tonight’s defensive play. “We played very good defense against a very good Mavs Gaming team.”

In the first game of the series, JMoney led T-Wolves Gaming with 22 points, going 9-of-12 from the field and 4-of-4 from deep. Xavier “Big Saint” St. John notched 10 points, seven assists, four steals and one block. Mihad “FEAST” Feratovic secured his seventh double-double of the season with 12 points and 17 rebounds. FEAST added three assists, two steals and four blocks. Michael “BearDaBeast” Key recorded 21 points and a game-high eight assists in the 70-48 victory.

In the second game of the series, T-Wolves Gaming held Mavs Gaming to five points in the first quarter after going on a 13-0 run in the first four minutes of the game. BearDaBeast led the team with 31 points in Game 2 along with seven assists and one steal. Big Saint had his best outing of the season, scoring 17 points and adding four steals, two assists and one block. Christopher “Detoxys” Doyle scored nine points and grabbed nine boards, nearing his first double-double in a T-Wolves Gaming jersey. Detoxys added four assists, two steals and three blocks. FEAST finished out the night grabbing 14 rebounds in the second game accompany his nine points.

T-Wolves Gaming will play at 8:00 pm CT on Wednesday, May 27 for their first matchup against league newcomer, Gen.G Tigers.
